I’m a creative leader, writer, educator, producer, amateur brain expert, and family woman.

I’m a person who believes that clear, empathetic, engaging communication leads to better everything

In every role I’ve held, thoughtful, effective content and messaging have been central to success. Over time, I became curious about what makes messages actually land — within teams and with public audiences alike. That curiosity naturally evolved into a focus on strategic problem-solving, since communication is often where strategy becomes real. I built my approach by doing the work itself: learning in real time as a hands-on content creator and, eventually, as a senior creative director.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve led and supported creative work across education, media, and mission-driven organizations — from small, scrappy teams to global institutions. Why? I want to feel good about how I spend my precious ~4,000 weeks on Earth, and I light up when I’m being creative, making connections, and helping people.

I live in the Hudson Valley with Jamie, Mariah and Wavy. I love listening to Cécile McLorin Salvant, reading novels (currently Lonesome Dove), spending time with loved ones, waking up before everyone else, drinking one-too-many cups of coffee, stacking firewood, and swimming in a lake during summer.
I also write fiction
