Flocabulary

Open Mic

We built a stage for the people the work is actually about: educators and students.

Challenge

We wanted to move beyond the classroom and create an experience that honored student and teacher voice while building real-world visibility for the brand.

Solution

I led the creative development of sold-out live shows in Chicago and Philadelphia, where students performed alongside professional MCs, animated projections, and featured speakers. The events blended education, performance, and community celebration.

Results

The Open Mic series significantly boosted brand recognition, generated organic media coverage, and positioned Flocabulary as a platform that doesn’t just teach about culture and politics, it actively elevated young voices within them.
